The prospect of surgical treatment can be daunting, leaving you with many questions about every aspect of your care. We provide all patients suffering from conditions of the face, mouth and jaw with an end-to-end service, supporting you throughout your treatment journey and helping you achieve an outstanding outcome.

Your first appointment

To start your journey to a pain-free and functional mouth and jaw, simply book an appointment. During your first appointment, you will have the opportunity to discuss your symptoms in detail and your ideal outcome from treatment. You will also have some X-rays or scans taken, usually immediately after your appointment.

The results from your scans and the symptoms you have spoken about are used to explain your condition and provide you with suitable treatment options. You are given plenty of time to ask any questions about each treatment and understand more about what they involve.

Your treatment

If you go ahead with treatment, it will take place at a leading London hospital. We will take the time to go through the procedure in detail, explaining whether you will need general or local anaesthetic and informing you of the recovery times and how long you will likely be in hospital. In most cases, you will be able to go home on the same day to recover in comfort, with full instructions and any medication.

Follow-up

Your follow-up appointment will be arranged usually around a week after your procedure. This enables us to check your progress, including the wound site, and make sure your medication levels are correct. We can also arrange any further scans or treatment if these are needed.
